Is it possible to build a website that I can update myself?
This is a question that we are asked quite frequently from our clients. Why should you have to contact your web designer everytime you want to make an update? We feel this is a great solution for most clients and encourage you to look into the idea. This enables you to add your own web pages, photos, and update contact information whenever you want, from any computer. In addition, a content management system ( CMS ) is a great way to help your website grow and create a dynamic feeling that your viewers will be sure to notice.
There are several content management systems we like to use in our development: Wordpress, Joomla, and Drupal. Each system has it’s advantages and must be carefully considered before the web building process begins.
If you simply want to update your web pages with a content management system we would suggest using Wordpress. This is one of the leading content management systems out there, definitely the number one system for bloggers. It’s administrative features are robust yet easy to use. You can manage users, images, posts and install various plug-ins to give you real flexibility.
